River levels decide whether rapid shooting and the Lata Berkoh boat go ahead. We tell you before you travel, and refund RM 100 per person if the Lata Berkoh boat can't run.

Sightings are never guaranteed. Taman Negara is a working rainforest, not a zoo. Macaques, langurs, hornbills, monitor lizards and butterflies turn up often; large mammals are elusive and rarely seen near day-trip trails.
